Dr. Berkowitz, has been a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology since 1985, and senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. Born in New York City, he attended Purdue University undergraduate program and graduated Downstate, S.U.N.Y Medical School in 1980. Postgraduate training began with an internal medicine internship and subsequent radiology residency program at L.I.J.-North Shore University Hospital in New Hyde Park, New York. His training continued with a two-year fellowship program in Neuroradiology and MRI, where he was a Senior Clinical Attending Neuroradiologist at Queens Hospital, New York. Dr. Berkowitz relocated to Southern California in 1986 to begin his MRI service at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Burbank. He has continued his clinical practice in Neuroradiology and MRI for the last 16 years at Los Robles Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, California and Conejo Magnetic Resonance Imaging Center. With 20 years experience in all aspects of Neuroradiology and MRI including
myelography, conventional angiography, MRA, and CTA, as well as body helical
CT imaging. Dr. Berkowitz looks forward to working with the Pacific Advanced
Radiology Group to provide the highest level of sub-specialty radiology
services to the professional community |
